A Concise Grammar for English Language Teachers is a compact reference aimed at teachers, giving clear explanations of the major grammatical structures of English and how they work in real examples. Organized by topic, it covers sentence parts, tense systems (simple, continuous, perfect, and combinations), verb forms and aspects, nouns (countability, quantifiers), pronouns, adjectives and adverbs, comparison, the passive, reported speech, relative clauses, conditionals, and more. Throughout, the book includes classroom-oriented notes, terminology, and task sections that help you analyze patterns, identify common errors, and connect grammar explanations to teaching practice. معاينة

A Concise Grammar for English Language Teachers
Tony Penston

Introduction
This book is in fact the new edition of a Grammar Course for EFL Certificate. The change of title is to reflect the emphasis on the first and new material primarily aimed at teachers. In this second edition a first edition, the first edition was also a considerable difference in the nature of the course. However, the second edition is intended to include a concise grammatical reference, particularly to help teachers answer questions about language in class.
The basic structure of the book makes it suitable for use both as an overview and a reference. Each chapter includes an introduction to key grammatical terms, together with examples and tasks designed to help teachers develop clear explanations and anticipate common learner errors.
