الوصف

Without grammar, you can’t say much. Without vocabulary, you can’t say anything. This book is designed to help ESL/EFL students learn and practice English vocabulary both inside and outside the classroom. It offers a set of fifty tips, organized by category, so you can choose approaches that fit your needs—whether you’re learning new words, practicing and remembering them, or using them in real life. You’ll be guided to try multiple ideas, note what works for you, and revisit the tips periodically to select new strategies. The book emphasizes doing the suggestions repeatedly and building vocabulary habits over time, connecting vocabulary growth with overall progress in speaking, listening, reading, writing, and grammar.

About the Author

معاينة

Without grammar, you can’t say much. Without vocabulary, you can’t say anything.
It takes many hours to become proficient at anything—a sport, a hobby, a musical instrument, or a foreign language. Many thousands of hours, in fact! For a student of English, this can seem difficult to accomplish, especially if your only opportunity to study English is in the classroom.
This book will help you learn and practice vocabulary in English, both inside and outside the classroom. If you are already taking English classes, some of the tips will help you get more out of your classes. If you’re not taking English classes—and even if you are—other tips will give you ideas to try on your own. Not every idea will work for every student. That’s why there are fifty.
