الوصف
This book introduces the core concepts of electric circuits for students across engineering disciplines, including chemical and mechanical. It focuses on fundamental principles rather than serving as a replacement for a full textbook. The presentation keeps mathematical analysis to a minimum while still providing necessary derivations and numerous numerical examples. The book begins with basic circuit quantities such as current and voltage, explains sign conventions, and covers the behavior of passive elements (resistor, capacitor, inductor) as well as ideal and practical DC sources. It then develops essential circuit theorems for DC analysis, followed by AC concepts using sinusoids, phasors, impedance, and power relationships. The final chapter extends the analysis to frequency response and filter behavior, including Bode plots and approximations.

معاينة
It is important to bear in mind that this book should not be considered as a replacement of a textbook.
It mainly covers fundamental principles on the subject of electric circuits and should provide a solid foundation for more advanced studies. I have tried to keep everything as simple as possible given the diverse background of students. Furthermore, mathematical analysis is kept to a minimum and only provided where necessary.
I would strongly advise the students and practitioners not to carry out any experimental verification of the theoretical contents presented herein without consulting other textbooks and user manu ...
