لماذا تقرأ هذا الكتاب؟

  • • Follow Hercule Poirot as he untangles lies, disguises, and staged evidence.
  • • Experience a classic rail mystery where every compartment and alibi matters.
  • • Meet a tense, mixed cast of characters with hidden connections.
  • • Find out how careful planning can make nearly any murder “impossible.”

الوصف

On a bitterly cold night, the Orient Express hurtles from Syria towards Istanbul and then across Europe—until a string of suspicious incidents, secret conversations, and impossible alibis draw Hercule Poirot into a deadly conspiracy. From the moment he boards, Poirot notices unsettling details: coded threats, carefully staged clues, and passengers whose stories feel too neat to be true. When the train stops and a rich American businessman is found murdered, Poirot must sift through contradictions and psychological motives while time and snow threaten to trap everyone on board. In this locked-room-style mystery, every stop, every compartment, and every spoken “innocence” becomes part of a larger plan—one that demands a final, startling revelation.

CHAPTER ONE
The Journey Begins
The wonderful views of snow-topped mountains passed unnoticed as the train sped away
from Syria towards Istanbul. As the Belgian detective M. Hercule Poirot drank his coffee, he
watched the only other person in the restaurant carriage - a tall, thin young lady, perhaps twenty-eight years old. From the way that she ate her breakfast, she seemed to be an experienced and
confident traveller. He admired her pale face, tidy dark hair and cool grey eyes. A good-looking
woman, he thought, but perhaps a little too cold and efficient to be described as pretty.
Soon a tall, thin man entered the restaurant carriage. He was between forty and fifty, with
greying hair and skin darkened by the sun. He spoke to the woman. His accent was English.
